Braden Lam is an up-and-coming indie-folk artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His debut full-length album, The Cloudmaker’s Cry, has been a fan-favourite since its release in 2025. 10 considered and thoughtful folk songs, meant to be played on a turntable in a single sitting, whiskey optional. Its music is reminiscent of a bygone era set to lyrics pulsing with the urgency and anxiety of today. The limited-edition vinyl in psychedelic orange is out now.
